We are about to give our youngest freedom and take the front off her crib. I'm sure I'll be experiencing some late night wake ups too.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00171522723410760877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-58463496466151686242010-10-10T15:29:25.360-05:002010-10-10T15:29:25.360-05:00Thanks Annette! It's so nice knowing that we aren't the only ones going through it.

Amber, mmm, a donut sounds good!

Lori, we tried the Tylenol Wednesday night but she still got up. I am happy to say that last night she didn't get up. Who knows, the crazy ups and downs of baby sleep, it's crazy!

Holly, she dropped it naturally actually, we didn't do anything really. Her wakening/feeding started to get later and later. The next step was she would get up some nights and not others. And finally it just stopped completely. I'm so glad it happened that way, I was not looking forward to sleep training again!

Chelle, thanks for the link, I'll have to check it out.

Thanks again everyone! : )Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11492653844259834476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-29600889414408572272010-10-07T21:57:45.271-05:002010-10-07T21:57:45.271-05:00I hate when they go through those rough patches! My little guy does it also. We've finally gotten down to one nap a day... but sometimes I think I put him down too early and he's in there for forever and other times he goes down right away. I just never know. I wish there was some kind of nap genie or something. =)

Good luck!Elsiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14826650816359063639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-23906076398265008762010-10-07T14:51:47.288-05:002010-10-07T14:51:47.288-05:00Have you ever read anything about The Wonder Weeks...Have you ever read anything about The Wonder Weeks? I guess they are a bit unpredictable.

Generally I can bank on if he doesn't nap well, he'll be going down earlier at night, which means up earlier in the morning. Good times. Hopefully your full night of rest will come soon.Circus Dailyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14567027147428918046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-26175331294779424962010-10-07T13:14:34.736-05:002010-10-07T13:14:34.736-05:00Hey Liz,

I knew the day would be coming soon when we would drop one of her two naps, but right now we are in this in between stage where she needs sleep but seems to think she can get by with only about 15-20 minutes for each nap.

You mentioned you dropped her night feeding a couple of weeks ago. Did it happen naturally or did you encourage it? I am still nursing as well and my 11 month old gets up at least once to eat. I'm so looking forward to a good night's rest!

HollyHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13876347403157981013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-28067431364490657152010-10-07T12:21:31.135-05:002010-10-07T12:21:31.135-05:00all kiddos go through those phases, nope that does...all kiddos go through those phases, nope that doesn't make it easier right now. you could always try a dose of tylenol before bed to see if it is teething that is waking her up.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12688642209556861948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6009155129639710019.post-73611306480386230252010-10-07T11:10:28.884-05:002010-10-07T11:10:28.884-05:00Oh, my friend. I think it took Nate 1-2 weeks to settle down from it - then of course he got a cold :( Good luck! Everyone says it will eventually pass. Enjoy your chocolate.
